No decision for Visitor Visa submitted on Nov 2020 - Non essential travel

Hello my friends.
I applied for my visitor visa since Novembre 16,2020 but my travel is non essential, I submitted a web form they replied saying that they can´t provide info now in regards of my visa process.Do you think there is high probability for my visa to be approved as it takes so long?

if you have not heard this long, then you may want to submit a fresh application on the new portal.

My case is similar to yours. I had applied for my sister's TRV in Dec 2020. Biometric was done on 5th July 2021. Re-applied on the new portal on 9th Dec 2021, got PPR on 16th Dec. Only 7 days. I included form IMM0006 as this is the case for an extended family member. Follow this process and you will get it quickly.

I don´t have immediate family in Canada, my case is for tourist only

I am waiting since Oct 25 - Spouse and 2 kids. Planning to wait till year end and withdraw and file afresh

No point in to reapplying for Oct 2021 applications.

idk... some people reapllied after 7 sept but they're waiting too... i send many mail to visa office. they auto repllied everytime " Your file is in queue for processing " idk what will we do?
