Calgary office received certificate today Dec 14th, oath was Nov 16 so took just under a month! Good luck to all with your journey!!

It seems Ottawa office is the worst! I took the oath ceremony on Nov 17, online tracker still in process, no certificate. Maybe the officer will do their job after Christmas.

Can we fill the oath forms before hand and then email them immediately after Oath or it has to done after Oath only ?

No，you have to sign it after oath

Someone on FB reported there are mailing room delays at Ottawa CIC causing delayed shipment of certificate. But others have received their certificate within 5-6 weeks of the ceremony which makes me believe the mailing room delay excuse from IRCC was just a lie. JT is probably out of office for the year. Just my guess.

My husband‘s email didn’t have JT，received certificate 4 weeks after Oct 16 Oath，different officer.

Yes, I believe delay is an excuse. I don’t think I will receive it before Jan.

Oath done on Oct 27th. No certificate yet. Not even status updated (still in progress).

I’ll pay submit a request for lost certificate next week. Hope that ticket doesn’t end up with JT again.

October 20: Virtual Citizenship ceremony
October 22: Citizenship oath status has been updated online to Completed
October 25: Application status was updated online to Closed

Started emailing Ottawa office on December 3. Nobody has replied yet.
Sent an e-mail to the Minister and Deputy Minister yesterday.
Will be faxing Solemn Declaration Concerning a Citizenship Certificate to the central office and emailing to Ottawa office tomorrow.

I feel defeated, to be honest ...

Totally understand what you are feeling. Please share any updates about this, I think many of us who’s officer is JT need a guide that how to do next if we still haven’t received the certificate 2 or 3 months after oath.
