I got another ghost update. But it's stuck at application/profile updated even after opening it. Nothing changed though.. Is this normal?
Yes, this is normal. You application is getting processed.
Hello All,
Last Thursday I received an email from IRCC stating that they have received my application and they are currently processing it.
I submitted the application on May 6th 13:44 PM EST.
I had already linked my application to the GC key Portal, even after receiving this email, I don't see any message in my GC key portal, the status still remains as submitted. Is it normal ? Has anyone else experienced this ?
Thanks you for your assistance here.
Usually, IRCC doesn't bother with updating tiny details like submitted or processing. So it's okay. Don't worry.
Hi guys. I have a problem with photo . In portal didn't download. What should I do?
Did anyone got refusal in essential non-healthcare because they were cashier at Tim Hortons or at McDonald’s?
No, cashiers are eligible for tr to pr.
Good news they have started 8pm EST IG. Seen a few updates. Not a lot of 7pms though just a trickle. looks like the office handling 12 pm files is the same office handling 7pm. So slow. But at least 8pm has begun. Link your applications 7 and 8pm'rs. The rest of the month is for you guys.
9pm, 10pm and 11pm January is our turn. We are almost there.
IRCC isn't processing applications in that order.

Bro don't be fooled. The selections are very random, the time you submitted the application has nothing to do with application files that are being reviewed. Do not know who been feeding ppl that misleading narrative which so many have bought into
I got another GU. Nothing changed and no portal request yet.
Its all being done in the backend, means they are activing processing your case. What does you Background Check says now?
No, cashiers are eligible for tr to pr.
I heard of a few cases
I might get COPR quickly after AOR so i won't have time to change address with a webform
I'm sure you won't get it in 7 days atleast, so just wait for AOR.
You're welcome

Appreciate the forcast. I guess I'll have to keep waiting..
Try linking once a week, don't overdo it
Hello everyone,
I just saw that someone mentioned linking their application to IRCC account, the only one condition of allowing you to link is receiving the AOR, right?
I applied at around 6:10pm in Toronto, but I still don't get the AOR.
The condition of linking your app, is when your file is in the system. Sometimes you don't get AOR but still are able to link, coz your file has been entered into the processing system.
6.10 pm, I'd say very soon, perhaps January.
No, cashiers are eligible for tr to pr.
There have been some, it all depends on what kind of setting, IRCC in an interview did acknowledge the fact that food court attendants were excluded for a reason, it's a grey area.
how many days after temporary file number.? to receive an aor.?
No such timeline, you get it when you get it.

You need to look into the increase in applications after 8 pm ish, there was a heavy uptrend after 12-8 pm on May6th. Payment process resumed after the night I believe, hence you might see some more delays.
