So, you waited 7+ hours just to hand in the passport application? I can tolerate maybe 2 hours max, but if this is the case in most passport offices these days, I am sending mine by mail when my turn comes.
My Aunt is already 55 years old when they submitted their Citizenship application which means she does not need to provide language skills evidence, but upon checking her application status online her "Language Skills" is still "In progress" while the others are already "Completed" except for Oath Taking.
it's hard to believe after all those stressful months of waiting and despairing: I had my oath yesterday with about 40 other people (for the spreadsheet, received the DM July 14 and did my test April 29).
So, the hopeful news to all those still waiting: We are not forgotten, the IRCC is working on our applications and doing their best to clear up the backlog.
Thank you everybody (and especially rajkamalmohanram) for sharing information and stories on this forum: they provided a lot of support and comfort.

Hi. Is someone updating the file for Aug 2019 applicants?. I think we should make an effort to update it. Looks like the applicants from August have the lowest % of progress. Updating doesn't fix the backlog issue but can help to compare with other months.
