In my case the offier incharge of my stage 2 sent email to my lawyer directly and when she forward the mail to me she cropped out the agent name . My questions is if I want to follow up with the status of my application is it right to ask for the information from my lawyer and will it have any negative effect on my file following up with the officer directly
you can email to back Niagara Falls office in subject you need to write your full name then application number the write your question when she/he respond back you will see her/his id number in bottom of the letter
D000 or booo
Actually make your process faster it works for me maybe work for you too you should do it now if you want to but it’s your H&c your decision

In our case, GCMS helped speed up the file. Remember the officer who refused our HC did not send us a refusal letter (she sent it directly to CBSA to trigger deportation) and we could not do JR; and she was not closing the case either - so we could not apply new HC while the old one was still in process. So we ordered GCMS every 2-3 months and finally she closed the case the day they issued last GCMS, almost 9 months after refusal letter date.

@Katayoon
