No way, no excuses now. IRCC blamed CAQ for low immigration thresholds, thats why things slowed down, now there is no excuse.

I think they admit about max 47000 this year? I'm sure after this month, there will be only between 5000 to 6000 PRs left to give for this year.

I asked the same question. Mine was on review from October 6, 2021.

I just past medical exam a few days ago.
Today I logged into my account showing that my profiles are updated.
But I did not see any actual updates, neither did I received any email notification.

It's a ghost update... I had the same situation for my PR cards request few days ago.
It means someone is working on your application.

Thats's cool but if IRCC don't process applications faster it will be useless...

So far it seems they are selecting, processing and finalizing applications on some sort of priority basis, we don’t know, it could be job market or country of origin or any other. Because some receive confirmation within a couple of weeks after AOR and others wait for months to hear any update.
