I agree. The system is not transparent at all. They don't answer webforms, they don't answer our calls. Absolutely zero updates on the online account. They don't even give GCMS notes in time. I applied for my GCMS notes on Aug 25th and have not heard anything from them. I wish there was a better process and I wish they communicated properly.

I received my gcms notes today. Everything is passed, last update was on Sep 16 and it says "Ready for final decision. Requires officer review."

mine went back from your background is in process to we will let you know when we do your background check
It never really changed, always "in process". But it shows as passed on the notes.
Mine also same for last two months: Will send you a message when we start your background check
Cant really understand, Whats going on, I have friends who got AOR in august and have got their PR cards now. I even called ircc today but same old stuff of priority calls only
There is no process for them. Once we sent our application, thats all we can do. No transparency at all.. I stopped calling them. We are wasting our time waiting on the call for more than 30 min to hear the answer priority questions only.

I got an update on my profile. At first I got excited but later I remember that my medical exam has expired on Sep 30. Before, under medical section shows “July 2,completed”, now it says “you don’t need a medical exam. Bla bla ...”
I think they will ask for a new one ( or may be they extended it!!?? Who knows? It’s a total mystery) but the question is when will they ask?
because I waited Biometrics instruction letter for 61(sixty-one) days. I am afraid that I will wait another 2 months for a new medical exam request!!!

You can do either IRCC or CBSA. CBSA is a bit faster.
It takes roughly 30-40 days.
