Gcms notes under privacy act and the other one where we have to pay $5 are they the same ? Or any difference?

My oath just finished, with around 50 people present. It all took just over an hour, a very nice ceremony. Now waiting for the certificate and passport, but I guess the journey is over for me

I completed my test on 14th July and next day I submitted my passport pages as per request. After that no progres except test and background completed in the tracker. My local office is Mississauga…I am observing people hear the progress approximately after 2 months of their passport pages submission…in my case it’s more than three months now…anyone on the same boat from Mississauga office or any other office?

Nothing can be told about these timelines anymore.. on one hand Mississauga office is processing 2021 applications at warp speed and on the other hand apps are stuck in backlog. Hang in there.

I don't see anyone with an oath invitation from Montreal. That gets me worried, to be honest.

Hi Raj, in my GCMS notes the current file location is mentioned as "Routine - File review ready" since August 26th, 2021. Do you know what does this status mean?
The immediate previous location is mentioned as "Routine - Test ready".

When you get the email inviting you to take the citizenship test, check the email address.
In my case was from IRCC.MtlConvoTests-ExamensConvoMtl.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
Mtl is Montreal.

Hmmm, I am not sure because I never saw this status on my notes. Because it explicitly says routine, that should be some good news.

The location has moved from Test ready to File review ready, which causes my worry whether my application has been picked up for any special review or audit. But as you said, it explicitly says Routine, that seems some good news!
The funny part is, my wife applied in January 2021, 4 months after me. Her test is scheduled between Oct 25 & Nov 15. My tracker status didn't change since March 16th. IRCC weird way of working continues

If you're talking about Sept 2020 applicants, I don't believe there are any that received the invite. But others - June 2020 and earlier - there are applicants from Montreal who received invites for October and November. I'm part of Montreal Citizenship Applicants group in Facebook, so the info is from there.

The whole October was full of oaths in Montreal.

Oct 18 and 26 were added recently.

March 2020 applicants have oaths scheduled for Oct 7 and 21.

It gives us at least 13 oath days in October in Montreal.
