Hey guys, I got a request to submit my passport today. Some progress.
I've also noticed on CIC website it says there finalizing applications received June if 2019. Didn't realize the backlog was so much.

I was requested fingerprints by CIC in July and I got an update on 30th august that they have received my fingerprints.
I got 2 ghost update in the last few days, one on the 29th of Sept and the other on the 4th of Oct but nothing changed on the tracker.
everything is still under process, any ideas on what might be happening with the application?

Hopefully BG gets completed and/or test invite!

It usually arrives 2 days before the test date, be prepared to submit passport copies.

@engray , did you get and email confirmation that they received the passport scanned copy? I have not received any confirmation yet, just curious if they do confirm or not?

I did not receive a confirmation. I didn't get a bounce either, and the attachment size is below 5MB, so I'm thinking they did receive it and we are in the waiting game, again!

Hi all, I finally got my test invite on the 14th and it seems my background check completed on the 13th.


Application sent: February 21, 2021 (online)
AOR: August 16, 2021

Update: test passed on october 4th. I also got a passport request on September 20, still waiting to send it as I had some stamps to translate... What's the next step? Will I be required to provide fingerprints?
