1. Do I have to sign when Purolator delivers the package or someone else can receive the package on my behalf?
2. Do you know if Purolator delivers on a Saturday?

I have received my daughter’s OCI and they have not asked for any signature. I think you should be good as long as someone is available.

i do not think Purolator delivers on Saturdays but not really sure about their delivery hours.

Okay, thanks a lot for your response. I'm planning on taking a trip to a park on Saturday (out of town) and won't be available at home. I can arrange for someone to collect the package in my absence.

I see an update on the BLS website now.

"In Transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre" for my surrender application.

Checked today morning & noticed I had the same status update.

It showed "Processing at Indian Consulate" till yesterday evening at 8pm.

BLS (Brampton, Toronto & Winnipeg) centers are open for walk-ins by Appointment only. You need to carry the printout of your appointment confirmation for entry.

(Only Visa applicants can walk in without appointment)

So many people including me have done walk-in for OCI and surrender. You can walk-in and submit both OCI and surrender applications together.

I went at 6:30. But I would recommend going around 7:00 or 7:15 AM. They open at 8 and we start seeing line become long around 7:15 AM.

That's exciting. Almost there with the passport surrender process.

I went to BLS Toronto at 6:50 am and I was 3rd in the walk-in queue. I got the chance to enter at around 9:30 am

Yes, it shows the tracking number. And you receive text messages from Purolator.
