New Instructions from IRCC for applications before 7th Sep 2021

Hi everyone,
I'm in need of some advice. I'm in a bit of a situation where my agent applied a new application through GC key on 10th September and didn't inform me on time. Not knowing this, I personally reapplied through portal on 13th September.
There has been no activity in both applications. Should I let this be? Or is it better to withdraw the 10th September application?

When was your first application made!
When you make an application via portal, all other applications (for the same purpose) prior to that get withdrawn with no gurantee of refund. That's what you agree on while filling out the form.
However, you can request for a refund.

My first application through GC key - 27th July
My second application through GC key which the agent applied - 10th September
My third application through portal - 13th September.

Let me check if they can give me a refund. More importantly, I hope this doesn't end up causing processing delays. That's what I'm more worried of

Ghost update on 2nd application on 16th Sep - Is it a good sign?

Did anyone get a ghost update before getting PPR?

1st application- 11th august (gckey)
2nd application- 15th September (gckey)
I got ghost update on 16th as well. But don no whether it is a good sign .

A few questions for you:

1. In your first application, did you mention 'Purpose of travel' as 'Other - COVID-19'?
2. Did you also submit a separate Webform for travel exemption?
3. When did you provide biometrics?
4. Did you submit new application using GC Key account or the new portal account?

For those who got PPRs after re-submitting the app - did you all submit vaccination proof showing applicant is fully vaccinated with COVISHIELD (only Canada approved vaccine available in India)? I am wondering if there are considering vaccination as major factor for handing out PPRs.
