See the field "RESTRICTIONS ON EMPLOYMENT" of you Confirmation of Nomination. If you have "No" there, you have NO employment restriction, so you can apply for BOWP. There is also the field "EMPLOYER (IF APPLICABLE)" which may not be empty, but it does mean you have employment restriction.

Order a GCMS note to be sure of the status of your application. GCMS note gives so much information than online portal. My background check(Security and criminality) had been completed since January 2020, yet my online portal says it is in progress. So, order your GCMS note to be sure.

I don't have this experience yet, but according to the cases I saw it can take a few months and even another medical examination if the previous one has expired.
