I applied for the GCMS notes on June the 30th. Haven't heard anything since then. My application is still stuck at Test completed since June 26th.

ATIP requests are backlogged now. Expect your notes from 30 - 50 days from the date you submitted the request. So practically, could take close to 2 months to get notes.

Guys, something unbelievable just happened!

I just got a call from Mississauga IRCC office a few minutes back and I was told they approved my application based on my urgent processing request and I am being scheduled for oath on August 23rd. She said I'll receive an email in 2 business days!

Update :

So, looks like IRCC employees are hard at work after business hours. I got the call at 8:25 PM which isn't standard business hours. Looks like IRCC is trying to speed up and move applications to decrease backlog.

Okay, it actually happened. I see an update on my dashboard for oath. The update happened sometime after 6 AM today.

I just heard from ATIP. They sent me an email saying:


We require that you confirm which specific information you would like to receive:
- The electronic file, which include the file status and updates, the notes of the immigration or citizenship officer(s) as well as reasons for any refusal; or


- The application forms, supporting documents and correspondences sent to and/or from IRCC, which includes the information submitted during the application process.


Note that your request will remain on hold until we receive the requested information from you. If we have not received your reply by September 7, 2021, we will consider the request abandoned and close our file accordingly.

Both are called ATIP right? using privacy act is free and using the information act is 5$.

Exactly, the free one comes back with question. I dont know why. Possibly issue in the forms or its not storing the selection you make.
This is not the first time i have seen hence asked this question.
No wonder, if its free then more delay purposefully may be
