I just got a call from Mississauga IRCC office a few minutes back and I was told they approved my application based on my urgent processing request and I am being scheduled for oath on August 23rd. She said I'll receive an email in 2 business days!
Update :
So, looks like IRCC employees are hard at work after business hours. I got the call at 8:25 PM which isn't standard business hours. Looks like IRCC is trying to speed up and move applications to decrease backlog.

Well, the next step is DM and then oath. There isn't a standard timeline. Normally, I'd say expect 3 - 5 months of wait time before you become a Canadian citizen but I sincerely hope September 2020 applicants get their oath invitations and test invites real soon.

Anyways, is it me or the IRCC is currently processing applications (to set to DM status) for those who mostly took the test in June? Next week will be 3 months since I took the test in May and it's been a dead silence. The way they work is just impossible to fathom sometimes.
