Hi guys,

All of a sudden, I got a lot of updates:

I got a ghost update on July27 afternoon, I was not able to call to IRCC due to high volume,

Today in the morning, I directly received the portal email.

So I guess I got both criminality and Security passed in the span of 2 month, since late May until now.

Did you trying calling IRCC for the COPR status?

I called and basically was told I have to wait. Now I am contacting my local MP - hopefully they can help me.

I received portal credentials on July 20 and submitted address and photographs on the same day and still waiting for eCOPR.
I tried calling IRCC but unable to connect to an agent. Is it good idea to send an email to IRCC to enquire about the status? Do they respond to emails?

What are ghost updates and how do we get to know them.

When you open you Gc Key account, the Currrent status of you application shows Application/Profile Updated instead of Submitted but there is no change inside and no email about that update.

According to Feb 2021 topic, Montreal is working now on 1-14th of March. So, if your AOR is in this range I'd recommend to call IRCC and ask about eligibility/criminality/info sharing. Portal emails receiving people with AOR 20-28 Feb.

no problem. One guy got portal email today, his VO was Montreal and AOR 28th of Feb. So, 2-3 weeks more and you should get yours golden email. Don't forget to let us know!)

Try to call in between 3-4 pm it always worked for me. If you request call back, even after 4:00 pm they give us call back.

How do you get call back option ? After pressing 0 it says the agents are busy and it automatically hung up.
