I got a feed back from IRCC after submitting a webform 12 days ago.
here is my application status:

@legalfalcon what happens to pending applications like work permit extensions after your pr application get approved?

If your PR application is approved and you receive an e-COPR if you are already in Canada, or you receive a COPR and land in Canada with the COPR, any pending visa / permit application is cancelled as you have become a permanent resident and do not need a visa / permit to be in Canada.

@legalfalcon ok but i still haven't received the cancellation and it has been pending for over a year
