Inland PNP applicants - No movement in application.

I just contacted my local MP. What should I expect from them?
My MP's assistant replied the following:

"In your initial email, you said that the application was received by IRCC on Aug. 28, 2020. It has been past their standard processing time, and you would like an update on your file. This will be the line of questioning I engage the IRCC with on your behalf.

Following this, I will be able to provide you with information.
However, please note that I am unable to directly intervene in the application process. "

I know that it has no update on my file for months. Can they ask IRCC to speed up the process by sending them an inquiry? or is it really true that they can not intervene in the application process?

Thanks! that's very clear. From this forum it seems that Nov-Dec 2020 applicants are getting portal emails, which means in Aug-Oct 2021, applicants from Jan-Feb 2021 can expect portal emails. Are my assumptions right?

You may correlate with the applicants who applied in the first half of 2020 who are still waiting for their turn. So, no one can expect anything for PNP applicants especially. IRCC is totally messed up since they are only focusing on CEC applicants. All the PNP applicants are holding their nerves including me.

One of my friend just told me that his application is finished just waiting for email from ircc and his aor is nov 9th.

Mine is oct 17th vo Vancouver didn't get any update

100% agreed even i have seen copr for nov 29th and December applicants as well

Got the portal email this morning. I have applied through a lawyer so I don't know about any Ghost updates. Please see my signature for AOR details.
I will update again when I get my E-COPR.
