I guess there should not be many people applying for federal PR during the summer of 2020 because of COVID. This should move pretty fast.
I am inland and sent the files in August.
Thats what I hope.

hi, does anyone how long it takes to receive reply from cic about portal mail. I've been waiting for a month. and i requested gcsm notes. it clearly shows in the "COPR" bar that they have received my reply. are they not replying on purpose

I submitted my PR application (QSWP) back in Oct'20 from India and received my XEP by beginning of Dec'20. It has already been more than 7 months now and haven't received my AOR. How long it could take for AOR, is it normal to take more than 7 months?

Also, i traveled to Canada in Feb'21 (closed WP) and currently reside in Toronto,ON. I did update my address by submitting a webform. I'm wondering is there any option to expedite processing my file as I'm in Canada now? Moreover, recently i submitted an amendment petition to relocate to Montreal.

Any advise/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

People waiting since Apr / May 2020 that too inland. So it’s absolutely ok. With this pace you might get AOR by Dec 21.

No, we can’t. Quebec doesn’t participate in Express Entry program.
