Nope I didn't. But that doesn't really matter if you were able to link your application as a principal. Your dependent will still get all updates via email if anything's needed. They still can use CAS to check the status. I think that IRCC updates CAS firstly, and after several days GCKEY. Anyway you're gonna be approved first, and after some time your dependent (no matter if they are in canada or overseas)

I received letter for pre arrival now its one month since.I haven’t heard from them until now.they asked my dependant forms and some additional documents which we sent since then nothing from them..is it normal?my gckey timeline ended on 12th july.

Best thing to do is to send required forms ASAP to help processing your application more faster

Telling them that I’ve sent my In-Canada declaration plus mailing address & recent photo 10 days ago but I didn’t receive any update from them

Aiming to get their attention to my application, if it works well and I got any positive results or eCOPR I’ll update you here right away

Let’s hope we all are done with this waiting very soon

Does it really need an employee more than a minute to approve an address and a photo? They already have them! All he or she needs to do is to check the system and see if they match or not and then approve them. Omg every step I have to wait months. I hate myself and my kids hated me because I keep saying next month next month and 6 years passed and they are still waiting. I am a big liar, my youngest says.

Best way to follow their instructions and to do what ever they ask for

It happened that they might ask for RCMP or fingerprint from people in Canada

This Immigration System need a revolution to Ben corrected otherwise another people will keep suffering for years with no sense,

I will try my best to highlight all the suffering we have had while dealing with IRCC on social media but after my family landing and having my PR status

When a week is over, we say will get it next week. Hahahahah. I gave up waiting and checking my mailbox and inbox. I am so frustrated. Once we get coper, we still need to wait few months to get the card snd then wait a long time till our familes get something from them. By that time, I will be dead.

One of my friend got his PR and now he want to get his passport back , how can he get it faster

if passport was sized by CBSA - he has to go to CBSA with PR card and explanation hy he needs it (a very simple explanation is fine. Passport is his property, they cannot refuse to return it). If passport was taken by ircc office - he has to go there. But some office temporary stopped returning passports due to covid (e.g. Etobicoke) so better to contact the office first. if its Etobicoke - no way to get it back faster..they said at least until August they're not gonna resume issuing the id's
