And today we received our portal email.

me , my application was in Sydney office as far as I heard. This was twitted on the web :
Significant Delay in Processing of CANADA PR for INLAND Applicants (Jan - May 2020 AOR)! maybe that is the reason.

no, not necessarily, I had a ghost email with no change or noticification.

Thanks, I was not able to log on into my profile for sometime and suddenly while logged in I have seen Application/Profile Updated I have taken screenshot of it. But no changes in the status, next time I logged on status changed back to Submitted status, no notification email or nothing.

RPRF: requested to pay 18/MAY and was paid same day.
applied through representative so dont know about ghost update.
Portal Email came: 12 july (Etobicoke office)
e-COPR: 15 july
