March 2018 Applicant and finally received the first email June 16th

very very unfair process, very unfortunate to see this happening in Canada.

Don’t worry. Your PR status doesn’t actually expire.

Thanks but I think I will get SIN number according to the copr expiry date which is in next couple days. So literally I am not able to work until receiving the pr card and reapply for sin. Correct??
Because the time I’ve got copr my old 9-SIN and work permit have become void.

My AOR is 9 Nov 2020 but only update I have received till now is for Medical Exam clearnace on 16 Dec 2020 .After this there is no further update.I have applied with my dependents in CEC class .

They haven't asked for Biometric yet .8 months have passed without update.When I call IRCC CSREP says it is inprocess but don't get specific update or where it is stuck from past 7 months.

I already rasied GCMS notes 10 days back.

Are there cases where Biometric was skipped?

I think this is the wrong group for your question, but I think since you requested for Gcms notes 10 days ago you better wait 20 more days and no need to panic the website says they are processing August 2020 applications now

Your COPR doesn't actually expire. That date is just one of the many "formalities" when it comes to the landing process. It doesn't mean anything if you're already inside Canada as a PR. Sign the COPR and go apply for a new SIN or health card anytime you want.

It’s so messed up. I know people who struggled with IELTS 2+ times to get better score and still in processing. I’m not against people who got in 2-3 months but , I feel sad for friends who tried to get 460-470 scores and AOR’s from Sep ,Oct 2020 still in processing.
This is leading to mental stress for many people .

Don’t worry , i don’t think it will be a affecting the decision they make on your profile. Take it easy. Even I submitted my details on May 30, no COPR yet.
If they find something wrong with that little thing , they wouldn’t even send you credentials but they did.

There's no need to panic. Since you've got the login credentials, it's in the green. The first email asking for your information is only to confirm that it's actually you as IRCC has no other ways to do that and they cannot just send out login credentials to random e-mails without first confirming it's going to the correct recipient.

IRCC has all of your correct information. They probably even know the colour of your undies. You'll be just fine.

@Annn Don't worry, It shouldn't affect your COPR. But. you can reply back saying you gave the wrong date in the first e-mail and sending the e-mail again with right dates.

Hello @legalfalcon can you please help me with below question?
Can I travel internationally with my work permit (TRV visa) as it is valid through sept 2022 even though I received COPR recently or I will have to wait for PR card to travel ?

If you are out of Canada, unless you land in Canada and are admitted, your COPR has no effect. Only when you land, and are admitted in as a PR, your COPR will be signed and dated, and effective that date you will attain the PR status, and will need a PR card to enter Canada.

Until you become a PR, your TRVs are valid.

They asked for UCI, email and date when arrived in canada and port of entry location ? For the port of entry, is it the last port of entry location or the first port of entry in canada ? Can somebody plz help ?
