I think you can correct when receiving AOR. It is not a serious mistake.

Could not be true as I saw many people with biometric in hand who have received AOR.

Don't depend on others. If you already submitted yours, then wait for AOR, IRCC may request a new one/or accept yours.
If you don't want to wait then book ahead an appointment for Med Ex.

thanks for the update. mine is 2.5 years old, so I was wondering if there is any chance. now it seems like they may accept but still the final decision is with IRCC.
