Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hi everyone. Just have a few questions that hopefully someone can answer. My parents are visiting USA/Canada soon and assuming they get biometrics and medical exam request letter while they are here:
1. Can ParentS do their biometrics in USA/Canada if their closest VAC is in different country?
2. Same question for medical exam. Can you do it outside of your home country
3. How do you know where your case is being processed?

Yes they can do it in USA/Canada as lond as the VAC/ Service Canada are open to take biometrics.
My parents did it last year in Canada while they were here on super visa.

Your case is in line 750. They normally post in eCas as "We started processing your application on #######"

Thank you. There was nothing written like that. My husband’s name also used to show up in ecas but it’s gone. Only my MIL’s name shows up.

That means you are logged in with your MIL's UCI or credentials. Your husband can log in with his UCI and both name will appear: sponsor and sponsored.

My mother medical was done May 26th , since then there is no update on ecas or mycic account. Any info how long it will take to show the update ? I also sent the additional docs via email 2 weeks ago and since then no update. LVO is london.. kindly advise. Thanks

So after 2 years of dead silence, my Ecas finally got updated to "Decision Made" for sponsorship. They sent me an email for my mother's biometric collection. Shouldn't I be receiving an email confirmation that I was approved as sponsor? I am also a Quebec applicant and I need to sign the undertake with Quebec. Is it normal to not receive an official letter confirming the sponsor approval? thank you!

Hi. Where was her medical done. The clinics usually take about 10 working days or two weeks to send the results. You can expect an update this coming Friday.

Sorry, I am not quite sure what date you are referring to.
That's what I see in the ecas:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 5, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 15, 2020.
3. We started processing your application on January 15, 2020.
4. We sent you medical instructions on May 14, 2021. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
5. Medical results have been received.

Hi. Where was her medical done. The clinics usually take about 10 working days or two weeks to send the results. You can expect an update this coming Friday.

Thanks, Medical was done in Karachi , got an email after 3 days that results have been submitted. But since then no update on CIC portal. So you think by this FRI CIC will send some kind of update about receiving medical results ?

I am not sure if I will have a problem but the earliest medical appointment for my parents is on July 6th and the 30 days expire on the 7th. Am I going to have a problem? Should I let IRCC know.
