I finally received our eCOPR on pr portal. My timeline:

AOR July 29, 2020 cec inland
Pr portal email: May 30
Pr portal 2nd email: June 8
eCOPR: June 11
PR card: waiting

a question I have if someone knows the answer; I renewed our passports and did webform them after pr portal access and received the receipt email but now on copr I see our old passport number. Should I be worry about it?

Could somebody please help?

What is the error?

COPR is a document that confirms your PR status in Canada. It is not a travel document, but can be used to show your PR status. Also, COPR has no expiry date and does not need to be renewed. You can use it for obtain your SIN, health card etc.

To travel you will need a PR card or a PRTD.

When you apply for your citizenship application, you will have to show that you meet the PR resident requirement.

However, based on the error on your document, whether it is a major one, you can decide whether to get it amended. In most cases sending a webform can suffice, and for something major, you may have to file an amendment request.

And will this Copr document needed anytime in future if I already have PR card,
And if I change this document after PR card, will they have to reissue new PR card?

I am not able to link my PR card into my CIC account. finally it said I am failed after 5 attempts and I should wait for 24 hours later.
I tried everything. UCI with last name. or other combinations.
also I wrote place of birth exactly same as my passport.

Hi Everyone, I have a quick questing I got a PR Confrmation Portal email,

It is for new TR to PR pathway steam.

They are to choose option to A or B for dependants, but I am a single applicant, no spouse no dependants. Do I just say that neither option is applicable to me as I am a single applicant and call it a day?

wanted to share observation about card. when i called IRCC they transferred my call to agent who has visibility on card process and and she provided me application numbers for cards and told me that it is in progress. Also, what surprised me that even though my COPR was issued by OSC Ottawa, my cards application is in Sydney NS, that's what i confirmed during this call too. Finally i was able to link card application for both kids, but was not able to do so for myself and wife.. even i know application numbers.

Well i risen number of webforms because all of 4 COPRs had errors: no place of birth, wrong dates.. (so nothing really major like passport no etc.) replies came fairly quickly - and they were all the same - file amendment request, and that's it. same was confirmed during calls too. so nothing would be changed based on web form only. so i prepared 4 packages and sent them to OSC yesterday. So what happen next is COPR will remain the same, they should send verification of status document which would reflect all changes applied to the system and that's it.

I was successful now!
First I decided to create a new account, however, I don't think this is necessary.
Then a to link the application only the combination DOB, first and last name worked.
The city of birth with capital letters and don't forget to change the country as it is set to Canada (I forgot).
Let me know if it worked.
