Called IRCC . they said eligibility not yet started . Background check in progress. Is it possible? . Because whats the point of checking the Background of a candidate if he/she has not passed their eligibility ? . Any comments on this will be really appreciated. @legalfalcon ?

Hi ,have you received the portal email from Virtual landing unit ,operations support Centre, centralized network or from the local VO.

It's same for me. I called to day and they informed medicals and criminality passed and processing the back ground check. they have not started the elegibility.
