Finally, I just got my AoR 30 mins ago. Application number in the letter is the same as # in my IRCC account. Everyone already knows the format of the letter, so no need the screenshot ?
Nice! So weird that you were able to link your account almost 2 weeks before it came. You were one of the first applicants so it must have just been stuck in the system's 'outbox' in the digital chaos or something

So, file goes to Sydney, NS office of IRCC, same as Express entry. Sydney, NS is the central intake office for PR apps.
In express entry, this office do the R10 completeness check for PR apps.

My assumption is AOR is getting generated after some kind of completeness check for tr to pr. at least they are checking eligibility docs before issuing AORs.

Congrats to everyone who was able to submit their applications! Inspired by @legalfalcon, I'm creating this post for everyone to post their timelines for AOR and COPR so that we can know when IRCC is processing the applications.

Here's mine:
  • Stream: International Graduate
  • Submitted: May 6, 2021 (Submitted at 12:17pm EST)
  • AOR: -
  • Biometrics: Already submitted before
  • Eligibility: -
  • Admissibility: -
  • COPR: -
------------------------------------------------

- Live counter of submitted applications: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/tr-pr-pathway.html

- IRCC has mentioned that they plan to process about 40,000 applications this year (source). I believe those who have applied early (in the first 40k batch) have very good chances of getting their COPR by end of the year. *fingers crossed*

Do I require PCC for my spouse even if he is not applying for Permanent Residency under TR to PR and won't be accompanying to Canada because of his prior Work Commitments?
Can someone please reply referring to the guideline.
