Question about citizenship test

Hi all. I would like to know if anyone has experienced this also. The info below are the updates on my online account. I was expecting to get a three week period within which I would write the test but mine states the test should be written on June 7, 2021.

Hmmm, that's weird. Usually, a time window is provided (21 days). This is strange.

Wait for the email invitation to show up. Check if you see the test window in the email invitation. If not, then may be they are changing the process and providing a single date for the test going forward.

On a side-note, I don't see the words "online" in "You've been scheduled to take citizenship test on June 7, 2021".

Normally, the wording would look like this:

"Scheduled for citizenship test
You've been scheduled to take citizenship test online between April 6, 2021 and April 26, 2021. Information and instructions will be sent to you."

I think you will be asked to come to IRCC office to take the test in-person.

May I ask which office your application is in?

Oh wow, that's news. If they start doing in-person AND online tests together, then it might speed up the process and reduce backlog a bit.

Wow.. outta the blue they're resuming in person testing again. I won't be surprised if this way a glitch or a mistake. Any how, good luck and keep us updated.

Could it be an online test performed over MS Teams? Some urgent applicants did their test that way.
