Hi All,
Finally, received my credentials today after the first email which was on May 25, 2021.
I received an email to upload a photo and confirm my presence in Canada.
Did anyone submit the same photo which was uploaded during EE profile submission? I got a photo taken in January 2021 and it satisfied the 6 months condition. But while uploading the photo during express entry submission, photo specifications were 35mm x 45mm and now they are pointing to https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...grants/pr-card/apply-renew-replace/photo.html where it's 50mm x 70mm. I know this page was for a hard copy while we are submitting the digital copy with only the front view. Curious to know what others end up doing.
This is what was in the help icon (?) while submitting the EE photo Temporary residents (students, workers, visitors), Express Entry and Canadian citizenship certificate
The photo must show a full front view of the head and tops of shoulders, with the face in the middle of the photo.
Size of the head, from chin to crown, must be between 31mm and 36mm.
Image size: at least 420 x 540 pixels.
We accept JPEG or JPEG2000 format.
File size: approximately 240 kB, no more than 4 MB.
Image must be in colour (24 bits per pixel) in RGB colour space, the common output for most digital cameras.
Temporary residents and Express Entry
The final frame size of the photo must be at least 35mm x 45mm.
If you scan an existing photo, the minimum resolution must be 600 pixels per inch.
Friends,
I need an advice.
My passport has been renewed recently actually after the 1st pr portal portal and I am still waiting for credential email.
So should I webform my new passport scan?
Hi snsajedi, yes you should scan the first pages of the passport which contain your new info and new passport number to IRCC. Because they will need to update that info on your E-COPR.
