Any updates about AOR for online applications?

Try calling early in the morning like just after 8am and choose to get a callback. It works for me every time - although you may have to wait a bit longer than the time estimate they give you.

Hello everyone,

I am eligible to apply. Found there is 2 ways to apply online and paper based. I want to apply online but cic website is confusing by saying you can apply online if you are randomly selected and invited to apply online. For apply online url, those basic yes /no question...it says you are eligible to apply online. Which is true for many. Just want to make sure that online mode is safe to apply and will be considered or not. Please share any experience or Information on it .

Hello guys, just for information, I still didn't receive my AoR (application online in December), I got an agent on the phone and the answer is they don't know how the process is handled in Sydney before to be send to the different branches.... look like, the call center is completely lost and they just try to reassure people and ask them to wait, to be patient..... but it's seems that's they are more lost than us.

Yes I received that email. Applied on 02-Jan-2021 and AOR on May-17-2021.

How was the oath ceremony experience? Did any of you opt for electronic signature on the oath form? How did that go? I'm thinking of saving paper and avoiding the printing and scanning trips

Thanks… it was very good experience .. easy going.. just one paper u need to print and sign and send back by scanning.. but u can do it electronically too … means sign electronically…and send back.. I have printer at home so saved the trips..

Did you mention many trips outside of Canada in your application like 20+ Different trips going from canada ?

I haven’t.. if it’s single day trips I don’t think u need to add.u can if h remember… but I interview interviewer asked me… so u have visa and how many times u been to US I explained that I been to us very few times and only one day trips less than 24 hours… then she was satisfied with my answer… and good… if u remember u can add but u should ask any professional about it too just to make sure.. as I’m telling u what I did I’m not encouraging anyone to do the same..

Thanks… I think it was all mixed up.. there were many others too (not online) just followed what they told to do … repeat oath after the judge nothing complicated
