Hi All, I have weird situation and hoping to get some insight from this community.
I have two applications open for PCC(Wife and I). Both were following the same timeline until Tuesday. On Tuesday, My wife's application was sent to the Police station according to the status on Consulate website.
My application is still stuck in "Fees received and in process"
My permanent address on my passport is of US where I renewed it. Could that be an issue. I have given my parents' address on the application for verification. Has anyone else done this recently with US address as permanent address on passport.
I may be overthinking this
I have US address in my Passport. I got PCC by submitting aadhar card copy of my Mom and an affidavit from my mom as address proofs. You should be good if you submitted the address proof for the address you mentioned in the application.
Hello, the fee is 41.40 per application. In the checklist it says that you need to submit a separate check for BLs fee but in fact just one Moneyorder is enough for an application.
If you are making it from Post office, you can put the payer name as 'BLS INTL Services Canada Inc'
Hello,
Hoping that everyone is fine and safe.
I had applied for PCC last month and today my online portal status got updated to “Police Verification Report is clear.PCC is available for issuance.” What would be the next step now. I have booked the drop off service on BLS website.

SOME TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS
-Reach out to the RPO authorities in India and ask them for a follow up.
-After Police Verification in India, the report is sent by Police authorities for uploading purpose to the Regional Passport Office (RPO) ,
-If you OR somebody you know have connections with some officer, that would really help to expedite the whole process. You can ask them to look up the matter AND make them a formal request to have your documents process faster.
The transmission of the report by RPO and its uploading in the system takes about 2 weeks. And once it is uploaded in the system, PCC is issued by the Consulate and dispatched through BLS.
Once you receive this status “ Police Verification Report is Clear. PCC is available for issuance” Draft an email to Indian embassy at pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in and Cc consec.toronto@mea.gov.in
and let them know about your status and ask them for a follow up/urgent processing.

Did anyone received their application back from bls due to wrong place of birth , my friend got his application back due to this reason .in his passport date of birth is like .majitha,amritsar,punjab.
But he write only majitha .because there is no space of writing additional info . Did anyone face same thing?
Can we directly apply pcc from our local police station? In ircc official site they mentioned that you can apply directly .
Anyone who had tried this option
