Hi, one of the officers emailed me back an hour ago. I opened the link and finished test. I passed it. I am surprised they respond to applicants' emails even in Saturday. You should expect an answer from them any minute now.

Haven't received an answer but was able to pass the test.

My file was in status "Background Check: Completed", and in the history of the case "Fingerprint check : Completed"

We got test invites, and passed the test. 10 days after the test, the Background Check is now changed to In Progress. What is going on here, does any one know? Is it a good sign that a caseworker is actively working on our file?

My citizenship process has been taking a toll on my mental health.
does anyone know what is the next step after security and criminality are approved? I was told by the CIC that I must wait to be contacted for a citizenship test to be scheduled? How long does it take? anyone?

My file was in status "Background Check: Completed", and in the history of the case "Fingerprint check : Completed"

Security check is valid for 4 years while the criminality check is valid for a year. My take is that they are rerunning criminality on your file if you applied more than 12 months ago and your criminality check expired?

Thanks for this. IRCC customer service fell short compared to the nice Info you’ve provided here. Are new set of fingerprints needed for this? I hope not..
