I passed my citizenship test yesterday and my test interview date is May 13th.

Did anyone request CIC to allow them to give the test while abroad (because they are stranded abroad due to a flight ban?)

Not tried yet. Also, how are people finding out when they receive their test invite? Is it purely by email?

Passed the test today 19/20 score. The test was much easier than I anticipated based on the online practice tests. Everything was from the Discover Canada book.

Hey guys,

Is there anyone here who had to deal with the anxiety of taking the fingerprints and not hearing anything else from IRCC?
They requested my FP on 03/15, they were collected on 03/20 and RCMP confirmed they were sent on 04/07. After that, I haven't heard anything from IRCC.
Am I being paranoid to worry about it?

Same here. Since beginning of March. The fingers were done and no further notification since then

they sent you an interview date right after your test??

They actually sent me interview date before I passed my test.
I'm guessing maybe my office (Saskatoon) is not nearly as busy as bigger cities.
I also didn't need to provide fingerprints, if that makes any difference.

I asked CIC for an exemption to allow me to take the test while in India due to the flight ban. They came back with this:

Thank you for notifying us of your absence from Canada. We ask that you do not write the test at this time. You will be rescheduled for online testing at a later date and time.

If a return date was provided, this information has been updated in our system. If not, please visit the IRCC website for further information upon your arrival.

Anyone have any idea what they mean by the last sentence "If not, please visit the IRCC website for further information upon your arrival."?
