That's too bad... I was hoping I could get away with a self taking photo. I did that last year when applying for PGWP.
Could you mind share the link of this information?
Same, I had a self-taken pic and today I had to rush to a photo studio and there was a long queue. Many TR to PR candidates taking their pics last minute.
Just to confirm, everyone is physically printing, signing, dating and scanning all applicable forms except the IMM0008?
Even the chatty lawyer was confused by that part in the application guide that says we need to leave it blank and sign "electronically" by answering security questions.
This is just if your document is on the list. If your country doesn't have national ID, then you don't need to provide it. If you are not married, no marriage license. Etc.

Still unsure what to do with IMM0008, they say we shouldn't sign it, but the form doesn't allow us to save it. So I guess we should print, scan, and then upload it back?
You must list all family members in your application for permanent residence, whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not. You must also provide details on family members whose location is unknown (including those missing or presumed dead). If these family members are not listed on your application, you will not be able to sponsor them at a later date.
This was under the "Dependents" info but I should be able to include my parents info here as well right? even though they're not a dependent, I can sponsor them later on.
Is the portal now open to at least register? Or the only thing we can do now is to fill the forms and get everything ready?
We can't start to update things yet?
Can anyone help me with this: For IMM5669, when running out of space, they told us to add a separate sheet of paper. Should it be a blank and filled on, or a duplicate of the page in the form
I don't think IRCC realizes or even cares that most of us don;t have high quality scanners and printers lying around our houses and we cant really go outside to do this stuff cuz we don;t have time and there's a frikn pandemic going on! I'm just using Adobe Scanner on my phone. My HQ Photo is no more after I scan and covert to JPG.
