Buddy, Currently August end applicants are getting AOR, it seems barring few exceptions that AR to AOR journey is 8 months now.

IRCC will instruct you to pay before you will now receive BIL

Based on when IRCC received your application in November your application is still less than 6 months. But AOR will definitely come

From various forums it is observed that most of Aug'20 applicants are getting AOR now, With current trends it seems that majority of applications submitted in Sep & Oct cases will get in another 30-60 days, few lucky ones can receive it earlier.

Ok. I read in the group that they give you a temporary file number if you request. It’s not an AOR but just a temporary number to identify.

Great, It is recommended that all Inland applicant should perform MR proactively as soon as BIL is received it will speed up the application

Ok. I read in the group that they give you a temporary file number if you request. It’s not an AOR but just a temporary number to identify.

You receive a TEMP file it reflects that they have open the file but completeness is not validated. Once they check file and it is marked as complete AOR will be issued.

Thanks ! My AR is 15 March ! So I guess i would not be able to get a temporary file number at this time. I wanted to upload a document but it would have to wait till i atleast have a temporary file number.
