My parents application is in edmonton now because of medical inadmissiblility.

This is weird I never heard of Edmonton
Edmonton office is only for work permit and visitors record but not for H&c are you sure?
If they send your application Edmonton office it means it will takes months to answer it
They transferred my work permit extension to Edmonton office I got approved after 9 months

Hi there - could you please share where this statistic comes from? H&C statistics are always interesting to look over. Is there a site that you can provide for volumes, decisions and the approval rates by case-types (like failed claimants versus non-failed applicants)?

Notes. Our file is in Vancouver but the because of medical inadmissibility the process is also being held in Edmonton. I hope the officer can see the benefits of my parents staying with my daughter and the care I can provide them since they are here with me.

Yes same time officer call you ask you questions like do you work,Financial or how you support yourself etc Basically simple questions

You will need to prove that his expenses will be less than around 100k in the next 5 years or the decision is basically made. One caveat is no treatment available in the home country may overcome medical inadmissability.

Good morning...I pray we all get a positive result. I submitted h&c
Application Receive July 2020
Medical asked for in Novemeber but because am a fail Refuge Claimant I didn't have to give a new one
Feb 4, 2021 Application in process.
Everyday I check for AIP ntn yet.
I am wondering if calling centre would slow up my application?
