They asked for an updated police certificate from the Czech Republic, where I lived for about a year. I had sent a copy of an old one since I hadn't been back in years, but they wanted an up to date one.

Honestly the most efficient would likely be to pay the biometrics fee and hope it will be refunded (probably will).

Otherwise you might spend weeks - possibly many - getting a human to recognize the issue and deal with it.

So I'd pay it and send a webform at about the same time. Ymmv.

I don't suppose anybody knows what this addition on ECAS means: "We started processing your application on April 20, 2021." I thought it might mean the start of the background check, but no change on GCKey since medical. Is it just a ghost update?

GC Key still shows the following:

Review of eligibility

• We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results

• March 9, 2021 You passed the medical exam.

Review of additional documents

• We have received the additional documents you provided.

Interview

• You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics

• We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

Background check

• Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

Final decision

• Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I'm on the same boat. Hopefully they'll update soon. Fingers crossed.

Hi Guys I recently received a email from CIC stating that my police certificate was expired and i needed to send them a new one.

They gave me three options in which 1 was through my CIC online account.
I Just linked my account but i cannot find any upload option to upload the police certificate. Any help would be great Thanks.
