What if you’ve done an upfront medical exam but you haven’t submitted it? I did mine expecting to try and apply for EE soon so I have the exam done...though IRCC doesn’t know.
Putting this here too so we can also discuss it in this thread.
Quoted from the article:
Are medicals required upfront with the application system?
IRCC is currently trying to extend medicals as much as possible during COVID-19 for those in Canada.
For this group, they will be dividing people into two groups: people who have never done medical and people who have done medical. Those who have done medical should provide proof. It is not yet known how old the medical can be. If you can access an Upfront Medical, you may wish to do so nonetheless.
So if this is true, they may take old results (like from when you first got your study visa) but they haven't mentioned if they'll take ones from 2 or 3 years ago or even older. But if you have an upfront medical now, its even better and you can be sure it's valid.
Hey guys, I'm still not sure what documents and applications to prepare. I know that this hasn't been posted by IRCC yet but is there a website or thread that lists the things that would most probably be required so I can prepare in advance? I mostly want to know about the application forms as those take time to fill in.
It's upfront meaning you can get get it done before you apply or before they ask you for one. They still send upload the results straight to eMedical and you just give IRCC the UMI number to access it.

Are you following what was posted on this website about how they believe the IMM0008 form is used for this pathway program? How do we know if come May 6 that they won't have a different set of forms? Or do all PR streams use the same form?

We aren't sure if it's gonna be the same form or there will be a special one for it. I figure it's a generic form used for other PR programs so I'd fill it out anyway.

News site (sister site) of canadavisa has mentioned IM0008 will be used. I personally think they will have a new version of it which will include our pathway in the category drop down. That’s what I think.

Honestly, I don't know. The best you can do is prepare your documents to prove your eligibility. That means IELTS/CELPIP results, proof that you finished your studies in Canada if youre going into the graduate stream, and proof of employment. What forms they want or whether they want an upfront medical exam or a police check we just don't know yet until they release more information.
