i really just wanted to know eligibility, wasnt really interested in the rest. i guess if i dont get rejected in the next 2-3 weeks then my eligibility is ok? ill call again in a month or so

I am an inland CEC applicant and waiting for COPR.

Since I am not in Canada and if i get my CoPR while i am outside of canada due to personal reasons wanted to check with you

1) If i can have my friend take my CoPR document and Photograph couriered locally to apply for PR card
2) Since I am outside of Canada, once and if i get pr card ask my friend to courier it to me in india. And then travel to canada when i have my pr card with me.
3) if ircc already has access to our entry and exit then why they are calling whether we r in canada or not ?

2. YEs, PR cards when shipped are subject to being confiscated by CBSA, unless accompanied by proper authorisation. If confiscated, you will have to apply for PRTD, return to Canada and then you can submit a form to CBSA asking for a release of your PR card. There is no penalty and it is not a criminal offence, but on a case by case basis, CBSA may confiscate immigration documents.

3. For two reasons. IRCC / CBSA just recently started logging entry and exit records for all passengers flying commercially form some port of entry / exit. Many ports of entry and exits are still not recorded and there may be a possibility that a person may be in Canada without his/her record being in the database. This is why IRCC will send email to cross check. Also, when you submit any reply, you have to do so truthfully, in accordance with s16 of the IRPA, and providing false information amounts to misrepresentation.

I'm London visa office too. May I ask how you know by item the status? When I tried to find out I got a somewhat unfriendly response not to even consider contacting them. in the future.
