Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

I sent mine last Monday and it seems they have received it this afternoon (I checked through LBC online tracking). No updates whatsoever coming from the side of VFS though. I'm waiting for an SMS

Hi mga kabayan. I am planning to apply for study permit 3 years from now. May question lang po ako. Okay na po ba yung bachelor's na natapos ko dito sa Pinas? I'm planning to enroll po kasi sa MBA dito kasi worried ako na baka hindi mag-equivalent sa bachelor's yung lumabas sa ECA ko. Pero ang concern ko naman, baka makita ni VO na may units ako sa masteral so why pursue Canadian education pa.

Sa experience po ninyo, equivalent naman po sa bachelor's yung nasa ECA niyo?

Depends on the requirements of the school. I have a bachelor’s degree and took 30 units of masters. Got in at a Canadian University to pursue my masters.

Not yet, still waiting for the result of my application. Was not required by the school to have my bachelor’s degree assessed. Maybe because of my work experience.

Ganun po ba. Ang iniisip ko po kasi eh yung sa application na ng PR, sa may education. Di po ba we will fall na sa Two or more certifcates... kasi Bachelors from PH at yung program sa Canada?

Hi po. Ask ko lang po. Makakaapekto po ba ang employment gap sa applicarion ko for SP? I have been unemployed since March 2020 kasi dahil sa pandemic, nakafreeze hiring karamihan ng companies. Three years from now pa naman plan ko pag-apply ng SP so hopefully makahanap ako ng trabaho.

Halos one year po yung gap ko.

Pandemic naman po ngayon at marami nawalan ng trabaho. Sa tingin ko naman hindi naman makakaapekto yan. Explain mo lang ng mabuti sa SOP na dahil sa pandemya kaya may gap sa trabaho.

Di pa po kami PR, mag aaply pa lang ng OINP para sa job offer stream. Naka PGWP pa lang po ako at SOWP naman misis ko.

Nung mag apply po ako eh 47 na po ako. At ang unang kurso ko dyan sa atin ay Aeronautical Engineering. Wala ako naging experience sa kurso ko. Halos 20yrs po ang experience ko sa IT. Kaya nag apply ako ng diploma sa IT. Bale suntok sa buwan yung pag apply ko dito pero naaprubahan naman.
