Some hope from Ottawa! I am FSW-O, aor 04/10/2020. Agent on the phone said all is passed, our file is approved and in transit to our local VO for PPR. It probably will still take a while with current travel restrictions but it’s so good to know things are progressing. Hang in there everyone!

This week I will be completing 6 months and was wondering if giving you biometrics later means that your COPR will be delayed as well.
I'm a CEC AOR Oct 8th but my medicals and biometrics were requested on early January a little after 3 months from my AOR.

Covid is a larger thread to delays than your biometrics.

AOR: Sep 2020
My application is currently under the security screening phase. When I called IRCC for time lines they said it will take up two months to clear security check.

But I am seeing other applicants ( JAN 2020) who are also waiting for SS for 10 months. I am not understanding the average timelines for IRCC to finish this process.

Could you anyone help me with this. Thank you

Hi, if you don’t get in first thing in the morning (8 am their time) actually start calling 7:54. Then forget about it. 8 am sharp calling is the only way.

we mostly reached 6 months milestone but as IRCC processing speed, they are behind 2 months. Just hold your breath , don't expect too much.
They had long weekend holidays, which causes a backlog for the call center. There is nothing you can do but keep calling.
