Anyone with the same situation? Had the citizenship test booked pre-covid and haven't been invited to take the virtual test?

It is happening to friends of mine.

Everything's random right now. I would suggest you to call / send a webform to inquire about this.

I just sent a web form yesterday, I've been trying to call but very long waiting times. Will keep trying I guess. Tx.

My test was cancelled in March 2020 and I'm still waiting for an online test invitation.

All the best ! This had to come! I know you dont like it ! But it is what it is. Neither did I......!

Just a little advice from me : get 2 Fp results , 1 sent to IRCc and other to your home address. Fingerprints agency can not stop you from requesting another FP being sent to you. If they say so, tell them you would go to other FP agency.

Having 2nd FP in hand helps as you mail/email them to get over the wait quickly.

Have you followed up? Send a webform and I am sure this would result in a test invite. Good luck

Same here. Got test invite for March 2020, cancelled 2 days before the test, never rescheduled, reply to the webform sent a couple of weeks ago was pretty much "keep waiting"

It's frustrating but it's actually a good sign that you're getting closer to the finish line. Get it done ASAP.

Already booked it for the 31st. The agency didn’t have spots available sooner than that.

Hi guys, still waiting for my certificate! But, noticed today that my ecas says: "Complete" so, I think the certificate must be on its way now!

This final line item was added:

4. You became a Canadian citizen on March 8, 2021.

Not sure about you but whenever I received something that I waited for long time, I usually keep looking and checking on it even when I received it already, just to remind myself about a long game waiting hahahaha

I know... I always say to myself, after this step, I will be patient because I know it will be a while to wait... who would have thought that I am still impatient waiting for the certificate! On the plus side it shows as complete on ecas now!
