I created this post for those whom are waiting for the Spousal Interviews.
I'm a Canadian Citizen filed for my husband's sponsorship please see our timeline:
File sent to Sydney, NS January 2019
File transferred to LVO: Oct 29,2019
AOR 2: Nov 1, 2019
ECAS status shows work started on file January 2020
Finally after long time silence we received 2 letters from LVO, ADR(asking only Post wedding communication, photos and chats) and also Interview.
I replied all the ADR on Dec 14 so far we only received ADR confirmation from LVO but nothing about interview date or time?
During pandemic is it possible to have interview anytime soon or will my ADR satisfy the Visa Officers?
Anyone in same situation? what are the updates about Interview during Covid-19 pandemic? i heard people waiting for interview since 2019...Please help me?
ADR plus Interview same time? wow that's really sucks! Any reason u think why Interview? (arranged marriage, age diff.>7yrs, different religion/race, wedding non traditional, etc)
I ordered notes and found out that we have less chats which i think Visa Officer didn't see in my detailed explanation and travelling stamps because we are living together since we got married....There is everything explained and now we provided everything post wedding and currently i am still living with him...i am just wondering how long we all have to wait for interview? how long will it take to start interviewing applicants waiting interview during this Pandemic?
Please anyone help me.............i am trying to find out the situation about interviews during covid?? are they doing it or if ADR explained properly is there any chance they will waive it? i am tired of waiting during this uncertain times

Looks like its only me and you waiting for interview. They most likely will not waive an interview once they decided on it...very small chance.
I was supposed to have an interview today but they cancelled it citing Covid-19.
Maybe they are playing some mind games, because Covid-19 didn't start 2 weeks ago when they scheduled the interview...
Hey lets schedule a few interviews and then cancel them in the last moment, just to show we tried....that kind of game.

Yes its sad and wasting our time only......Its so difficult for me to be living here with my husband in pakistan...i sent all the travelling details along with my passport stamps as proofs..i don't know what else they need to belive it?!

Its crazy....but honestly Covid is not going anywhere easily for sometime now....you know i have seen many people waiting for their interviews.....but its not possible for them to interview.....so how can we be in the list waiting too....i saw on their website that interviews and our work load has been effected badly and still effecting.....so i don't know may be if they you satisfy them with your ADR and reply to any of their concerns through ATIP notes then they will waive it as they have been doing that for some people by now...i know personally few people who got waive....Hopefully......
