"We’re currently finalizing most applications we received between

May 12 and 18, 2019

If your application is complex, it may take us longer to process it."

My application is from July 2020 so it's kinda far

For my spouse, forms + Civil documents were received at Dar es salaam visa office on 17th November 2020
Jan12th2021 Additional documents were requested
Jan 13 2021 Medical request
Jan 21 Medical done

Now if our MP asks IRCC say this : Eligibility in progress
Medical passed
Criminality passed
security not started
And I hate this part of security coz I know that it can take eternity tobe completed

yes its a good news but this is not our category! We are not in that category if that was the case it wouldnt be a good news at all coz we dont need to see our dependants files being processed in 12 months so that they have been processed in 3-6 months for most of this category

Jan12th2021 Additional documents were requested
Jan 13 2021 Medical request

My spouse did biometrics on jan 18th and I sent one additional document they asked for. I sent the rest of the additional documents in oct 2020.

Lets hope we will see PPR soon, I think now Nairobi VO now is fast than last years

This was pretty fast. I sent spouse documents to Accra on December 20th and i still haven't received AOR till date. Does anyone know when AOR will likely be sent and also if the process is still within 1 year processing time for Spousal Application.

they are not supposed to give AOR in this category, some VO can decide to do so but normally they don’t , they just proceed...
Other thing, we are not in outland spousal category! NO ! so this timeframe of 1 year is not ours

Seems they don’t care about refugee or their overseas family it’s really painful though . I have sent my family documents to VO Singapore and was delivered 4th January 2021 now more than 2 months no news no AOR nothing . We will know only when they like to let us know !! What a system!

Why not? Is your spouse not living outside of canada ?

my spouse is outside but let me show you the category we are in rotected Persons in Canada and Dependents Abroad
We even have quotas that are differents with outland spousal sponsorship category.

U will see all the categories and the target of IRCC for each category from 2021-2023 ! U will understand everything , and will know that we are not in the category of outland spousal
