India PCC from Toronto

Hello,

Can anyone advise how long the PCC is valid for?

I received the PCC in july 2020 and I haven't left the country ever since. I already have the ITA and was wondering if I can use the same PCC that I received in july 2020.

Please help!!!

Thanks a lot for the reply! Will go to Brampton office tomorrow. Status of my application now changed to printed. Do you think I might receive it in the express mail next 2 days?

yeah, if they send it you should receive in a day. I believe they are also open for walk-ins so wouldnt hurt to go and check directly if you are in urgency

Thank you for the response. Customer care told, parent name is not exactly same as my passport and returned my docs. My passport has only first name of my parents, To correct this in pcc application I need to wait to receive returned document and then again send and wait for 20 days quarantine.. looks like it ll take ages to get pcc.. soo disappointed.. pickup and drop courier charge I have to pay again whic is 90cad for me and my wife.

Hi Could you please let me know the steps you did after you got returned package? I have the same issue as well. Additionally my address on passport is different from current address and they needed mine or parents address proof where my parents have full name on the address proofs. Your input could be helpful to me.

Hello everyone. I just got my ITA. I just wanna know the current timeline for PCC for india.( i am in canada rightnow). how long it takes for pcc in current time from bls toronto.

Hi,

I sent my PCC to Brampton BLS on Friday through Purolator but the delivery has not happened stating ' Receiver unavailable - Temporary closure for pandemic '.

Did any body send the PCC recently via postal to BLS. Aren'tt they accepting postal applications ? Please advice.

Police verification Completed back in India: Feb3-4th Feb 2021
Status Changed to 'Police Certificate Printed' in Embassy Site: 09th Feb 2021.

Police Verification has been initiated and a request has been sent to Indian Embassy/Consulate. PCC needs to be collected from the Indian Embassy/Consulate where the applicant applied after a 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at the Indian Embassy/Consulate" verification at my home was done last week. I want to know after verification is done , does the status directly change to 'Police Certificate Printed' or there is another status like 'verification completed' or something before the status moves to 'Police Certificate Printed'. What I mean by that is in your timeline you mention 'Police verification Completed back in India:' is this status that also gets reflected while tracking or the status directly moved to 'Police Certificate Printed'?

First to regional office then to your police station. You won't get any other mail. Track status online.

Hi All,
I am not able to get thru BLS International office in Brampton, have been trying this number 416 307 2237 i hear recorded message "Stay online while we connect you to our representative........".
Anyways I booked pickup and drop, as Walkins are not open as yet, thru BLS website, I have few questions please help:

• Online submission for 2 applications (myself and Spouse) “Passport Seva at Indian Embassies (passportindia.gov.in)” on 17th Feb 2021.
• I opted for pick up and drop for 2 applications (Purolator) and paid online CAD 95.7, is this correct amount?
• Do I need to send both applications in one envelope or 2 different envelopes?
• Created one draft in favor of BLS international of amount CAD 88.80, is this correct? If yes, then should I attached the draft with my application?
• Is there any other payment we need to do? If yes then how, please share the link.
• If in 2 envelopes then do I need to fix the label on both envelopes?
• Do we need to self-attest all the photocopies?
• Do we need to photocopy and attach blank pages of the current valid passport?
• Do we need to photocopy and attach all the other expired passports?

I suggest you to wait 13-15 minutes to connect with a representative. For me, Purolator took care of envelopes - they placed the return envelope with the documents in the first one. I would not attach blank pages of passport but every other page with stamps, your info. Yes, all pages of expired / old passports need to be attached. I went to a Purolator location and paid them directly, it costed me 50$ but it was only one application.

You have to proactively reach out to police and show the email received from passport admin.
after under processing at embassy it directly changed to Dispatched.
