Guys, I am really scared now. Received BIL on November 26th. Have to submit biometrics before February 25th. But here in India (chennai), VFS hasn't opened for Express entry candidates and not sure when they will do. Does anyone know whether that end date ( February 25th) will be automatically pushed further because of non-availability of VFS for express-entry candidates?

Just checked the Immigration Canada website. The deadline will automatically be extended.

When I log in now, the status shows "updated". But when I click into details, it becomes bad gateway. May I know is it a real ghost update or a glitch of the page?

I had the exact same issue few hours ago. Now I can open my application and -as expected- nothing has changed. It's probably a glitch or something

Only change I had in account till date is after biometrics, BCG changed to "We are processing".
I called IRCC and no info was provided since my file was transferred to Paris VO.
Should I be worried? Honestly I did not catch any GUs yet.

I log in again after an hour. The “update” status still exists. After clicking into details, same as you, nothing has changed.

October AOR applicants need not worry. Still have 2 months left before 6-month deadline. Worry afterwards.

There are many others as well with the same vo.. recently a guy having mid September AOR got ppr through london vo.. so atleast it's working

exactly same situation. Except my AOR is 31st october.. File transferred to London VO.

Not everyone receives a GU. An average application takes 8-9 months, and this was pre-COVID.

Sine your AoR is October, wait for another 1-2 months and then request your GCMS notes.

The BGC refers to criminality and security. This is why the BGC status changes twice during the processing of the application. Since your AoR is October, it may be very likely that your eligibility is not started or may have been recommended passed, and your security has not been initiated. Security only starts after eligibility has been conclusively passed.

Yes LVO is working. It seems every VO is working to some extent except CPC-O, which seems to be a black hole for FSW-O. I'm worried seeing the posts by people who have been waiting for more than a year without any update from there.
