TRV From Inside Canada - Normal Processing Time Has Passed

Some of us applied December 4th and have not still gotten the passport request. This is 2 months later. Unbelievable what IRCC is doing.

That's crazy. There are people out there, desperately waiting for this TRV. 2 months it is too much.

I totally understand your feelings. Tired of these nonsense's, and is very stressful. Having a medical emergency, a need to go back home and they do not respond. Yeah, it is true, there are people who have applied after us and they got their TRV done by now. Did you review eligibility started or still no?

No, my Eligibility Review has NOT started. I got the Submission Confirmation on Feb 1st at 4pm. Since then, nothing changed.
Once you get the decision, please keep us posted. I will do the same if I get any decision.

Applied December 17th, Still no submission confirmation or any updates. This is totally absurd. They take 2-3 months to send passport request and then they take another month to send the passport back. They simply don't care about medical or any kind of emergency. They are just taking advantage of the situation because they know we are helpless and we require the visa to stay in the country or to reenter. If we try to tell them that we need the visa urgently so we can travel, they just tell us to withdraw the application and re-submit it later. They simply don't care what people are going through right now.

Seriously? Did you apply inside or outside Canada? Tho, it does not matter, IRCC is going very slow with the applications.

Same for me. If we have our biometrics already done, it should not be hard for IRCC to check the application and approve it or not.
Waiting for the PPR request, it seems it takes a long time to come.

Trv applied on 11th November. Still no update. Biometric is not required as on workpermit .biometric is valid until 2025. Now almost 3 months . Before always got trv in 2 or 3 days but this time . No hope

To be honest, idk. The IRCC is driving all of us insane. For some people the feedback is rapid, for some other like me, is very slow. Okay, we understand that the staff is short, but god damn it, we have an emergency to go back home. I am not going for fun, but for medical reason.

I mean if IRCC can't process the TRVs faster at least they should give an email and let us know that can apply at home using PPR letter.

hi , i recieved my PPR Dec 17 2020
Passport recieved at ottawa Dec 23.

Till now , No update i realy need my pasaport Asap need to travel back india.

what should i do in this situation.

Hii..reading your experience, i am thinking not to submit passport in Canada after approval as I have booked ticket for April.

i will be in trouble if i dont get passport back on time. they are taking months to return it..BS..how did you manage? you went out of Canada?
