We were asked to confirm our address... So i think they usually ask if you have had multiple addresses on profile or if you recently moved...

They don't usually ask for address on less you're about to get COPR . if you provide all that they ask for on the second stage like medical financial support pr fee, once you submit all these they are finalizing your application.

My application is in Toronto since last April 2020 and that's when I saw in process. I believe background checks started between late December to early January.

I believe it'll be good because they don't normally go as far as background checks if they want to refuse you. Unless you fail the background. I'm not as anxious anymore since I found out background checks is being done.

I didn't call IRCC to inform them i got AIP they knew already and provided me with 2 years work permit

I have requested several but haven't since about last summer. I found out the background is being processed via IRCC'S ivr. They didn't update my ecas, it still says processing and doesn't show when it started to process.

Because I’m also PRRA applicant so they usually issue to the PRRA applicant six months or less than six months work permit
Seen ppl got three months work permit
