Please I need to know if I can apply for PR while on implied status. My file was returned in December and I’m ready to apply again but I have a concern regarding my status. I applied for extension for work permit before the expired date, I don’t have any update about. I don’t know if I can still apply for PR while on implied status. I’m very worried about this situation. Did anyone experience this situation?

I was I the same situation. My work permit expired on May 9th and my AR date is 25th. I applied for work permit extension on March 13th. But you have to mention about it in your be of the forms. Btw I got my new work permit after 6 months from the time I applied.

Hey buddy you can certainly apply for pr . You attach everything with your file again. Copy fo passport, expired work permit, letter of submission for your new work permit you got in your account and fees receipt for new work permit. Also attach old work permit too . Letter that shows your application for work permit is received by cic .

Hello there!
I hope somebody can help me out with my query. So, my application was received on July 16. Some of my friends applied at same time and their AR were July 29 and 30. They already have their AOR and I haven’t yet received anything. I called them and got a temporary number last week but still no email regarding my AOR.
I was really getting worried now. Can someone suggest me what to do or if it’s still gonna take time.
Please help me calm down.

Finally I saw someone got the same issue as me. I have been tried to upload a file via web form since last night, and it has not been working

Please check the file size it must max 2MB if a single file and if ‘max 3MB if multiple files. If you didn’t know about it try to reduce the file size.

Hey buddy, i just read your post, and I checked my ECAS, nothing happened. Then i checked GCkey, it has updated, i passed medical too. (Submitted upfront via webform on Jan 8th,2021). Good day. . Now we both wait for DM right? 1 month from MP usually? Or it depends on Security check.
