I received an email today and it says application updated. When I logged in there was no update but I noticed, the eligibilty requirement states - 'we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements' is that normal?

Your eligibility status was something different before? Mine has always been “We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.”

Yes, I cannot recall exactly, but i think it was 'Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.'

By the time we receive our pr, the new rule will be implemented and im just wondering do we fall under non-essential travelers or essential travelers just like workvisa holders?

Hi everyone,

quick question. I plan on settling in Ontario after PR, I’ve even included some previous job interviews etc I had there from before corona on my application.

However, I’m currently in Quebec during the COVID nightmare on an Eta to stay with my girlfriend who’s family is from here. Could me being in Quebec have any negative bearing on my application..?

Biometric scheduled 24th February.
I have trouble getting an early date as ASC in United States are working in super limited capacity. As a result, the earliest date is a month from now in February. My question is, will my application be delayed due to late biometrics ? Will IRCC stop working on my application till they receive my biometrics ?

Any related information would be of great help.

People in India , I've recieved BIL.. but the VFS states that we can't book appointment now.. how to deal with this ?? How people from earlier AORs during the pandemic did it ??
Any guidance is appreciated..

There is a delay of a day or two.. wait for couple of days, the status of Medicals will change.
