Why ottawa office not sending ppr?

Guyz please let me know if ottawa office still working. Is ottawa still issuing ppr?

Only hand picked applications are being worked upon based on the trend for namesake. Don't think they are processing all the submitted applications.
People with all assessments passed are waiting from March 2020. They habitually hold all applications in limbo for unknown reasons , not only study visa permits.

There is a lockdown in ontario till 11 Feb. work from home is very slow. Similar slowdown was also seen when there was a lockdown in the previous corona wave.

AIP Recieved on sept 3rd 2020 in gmail
Started online classes and in 2nd semester now.

Eligibility is recommended passed as of september 1 2020,
Medical is recieved. (First, she said medical file isnt there, then she checked again, and said its received)
Biometrics and criminality is passed.

I also let the ircc agent know that my application has exceeded the processing times and i had sent them 3 webforms regarding my 2nd stage approval, she says she cant really do anything about it.

Can you tell how did you call IRCC?

My cousin lives in canada, i used rebtel app on her phone number to call.
For some weird reason we had to subcribe to a pack to call indian numbers(india unlimited 30 days, 10$/ month).

No use calling them. I had a bad experience where my application was already refused and there was nothing in my gckey. I only got to know from my gcms notes.

It says "we're reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements."

What does she mean by that ? Isn't she supposed to process our files ?

It will be slow for a while, believe it's due to Covid-19.
Unfortunately, lockdowns will continue in some provinces, as the numbers go up.
IRCC may come up with new plans around April 2021.
